St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Allentown, New Jersey, will hold a sacred music workshop this coming Saturday, to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the instruction Musicam Sacram. Peter Carter, the presenter of the workshop, has also participated in the Pro Civitate Dei conferences given by the Fraternity of St Joseph the Guardian, which I have been blessed to attend twice; I can tell you from my own experience that he is a superb singer, and has an excellent knowledge of the Church’s tradition of liturgical music. If you are able to attend, you will certainly find it a good experience.
