Yesterday evening a Blessed Sacrament procession from the Catholic chapel at MIT was followed by a Holy Hour of Adoration and Benediction at St. Paul's, the home parish of the Harvard Catholic Student Association. The Holy Hour was scheduled in response to a planned 'black mass' to be held at the same time by a student organisation on the campus of Harvard University. The Holy Hour was attended by about 2,000 people, including Harvard president Drew Faust. Media reports seem to suggest that the 'black mass' itself was called off after an overwhelming response from Catholics worldwide. More photographs at the Archdiocese of Boston's Facebook Page.
